On the 8th May 2009 I passed through the 5,000 mile or 191 marathons mark in my training/recover from my calf injury. How did I celebrate? I put my trainers and new fastpack on and tried to do 153 miles in 7 days.
In the 7 day window I reached 135.62 miles. This set a new PB (Weekly Rate) but I obviously failed to reach the 153 mile mark. This was due to losing 17 miles on the second day to heavy rain. This got me thinking is 89% failure and when do you quit?
