Kirstin on Fullback and Friends:  Blogs are becoming a very useful social media tool for employers to check an individuals creativity and writing skills,  Blogging is an activity that I encourage under-graduates to get involved in, through my 1-2-1s and is one of the first things I look for on a creatives CV.  If you are unsure where to start, start following some well established bloggers in creative fields/career sectors that you are genuinely interested in and keen to pursue a career in.  Then start thinking about the visual side of your blog and the topics/content you wish to include.  Remember a blogger should not be fearful of their audience contribute to their blog feed.  It is natural for like-minded creatives/individuals to start a conversation and contribute to topics that are trending.  Happy blogging!!   http://www.textileartist.org/write-artist-blog-post/
