How to freelance your way into a more flexible career

Kirstin on Fullback and Friends:  Portfolio careers are starting to make their name in the recruitment sector, and are offering many individuals the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills, be in the driving seat of their careers, as well as having the opportunity to have more control over work/life balance.  Yes, the idea of a portfolio career does sound amazing, but remember when you run your own business, you are wearing all of the hats for that business.  If you are thinking freelancing may suit you, make sure you plan well, and research the sector/industry you are keen to tap into.  Also, make sure that you set your self annual training/development/achievement goals, and surround yourself with amazing mentors.
