The perfect … application form

Kirstin:  Lots of our students spend forever working on the perfect CV, and at this time of year, I usually sound like a parrot asking the same question “What is the application method for the job you are applying to?”  and usually the answer is “an online application form”.  Job seekers need to realise that online applications have for a lot of employers replaced the traditional CV and cover letter format, and with some practice and useful advice are not as scary to complete as you may think.  With each online application you become more confident with your supporting evidence and understand the importance of meeting the criteria of each individual employer.  http://careers.theguardian.com/application-form-perfect
