Mind the gap: don’t let missing work history damage your CV and interview

Kirstin on Fullback and Friends:  This is a concern that regularly crops up in my 1-2-1s with students.  Employment gaps for a student, are different to an individual who has a longer employment history.   Other reasons for employment gaps are due to too long a CV, in this case it is really important to make sure your employment dates are recorded, but keep older roles to a minimum, and where there is repetition ie. four customer service assistant roles, with different retailers record the most recent and include duties/responsibilities, and then include a short employment statement to capture the additional employment dates and employer names.  http://careers.theguardian.com/careers-blog/minimising-problems-on-a-cv
